Covid 19 update – 2022
Earlier this year, both practices returned to a pre-covid structure with the ‘appointment only’ system being dropped and the doors unlocked.
Thank you for your patience with the new systems we implemented due to Covid19, it was greatly appreciated during a stressful time for all.
Facemasks are now entirely optional for patients when visiting our clinics. Our Optometrists (the person testing your eyes,) wear a mask during an eye examination because of the close proximity to you during the test.
Many patients also choose to wear a mask for this part of the visit and free masks are available should you like to do do.
During the restrictions we had very positive feedback regarding appointments for choosing and collecting eye-wear. Due to its success, we now prioritise appointments for all services where possible. Although we are now open for a walk-in appointment to choose eye-wear, please consider calling the teams before heading down to see us. This allows the reception team to look for the best time to have a personal appointment with a qualified Dispensing Optician to guide you through our frame and lens options.
Thank you again for your patience and understanding during the various stages of the pandemic.
