Vision care for the homeless community
Its still incredibly sad to think that some people within the Cheshire/Manchester area face the uncertainty of where they will sleep each night.
To not have a home, to not have a roof above your head and a safe space to call your own is unimaginable for most of us.
That is why we were so pleased to hear that our popular team member and Optometrist, Jane Laitt was to start a regular volunteer day to help test the eyes of homeless people in the Manchester area.
Jane had wanted to do something to give back to the community and she is happy that her vocation of an Optometrist has given her a skill that she is able to use to help provide or the basic needs of people who are homeless and without access to eye-care and eye-wear.
